Well on the most basic level, we have the physical stunts he pulls - the cases after the 8 year gap demonstrate far more agility and physicality, which would not make sense, as 8 years tends to slow people down, as the body ages. Also, there is a very definite pattern in the more recent cases - in fact, the pattern is almost identical to the prior cases, where there is a randomness that suddenly becomes quite focused, as if something important came to light. It would be strange for it to happen twice, don't you think? As if the latter cases had forgotten, and then been reminded.

And finally... KID is an International Jewel thief. And since the 8 year gap, he has not once set foot outside of Japan, as if something keeps him there.

It would be extremely odd to go from fairly standard basic magic tricks and simple, expected flexibility to near athelete level powress, especially as whoever this is, based on the length of time the first KID was active and the 8 year gap, if they were the same person, must be at least in their 30s by now. And you simply aren't that flexible at that age.

That... is very very strange. I had a text message that went to someone it was not intended to, but there was nothing about oddities in time that came up in the conversation.

It might have depended on who it was, too. If it's someone that has talked to you before, you could have always just assumed you hit the wrong contact or something.

I had not however - it was Kudo Shinichi on the line. He said at the time that he had gotten some strange calls as well, so we assumed there had been some sort of mixup at the telephone exchange.
