Poirot. The Cafe under the Mouri Detective Agency-I need to talk to Amuro about something.

[ Well he went world-hopping again so there's that. But the fact that Conan isn't surprised to hear his voice, the mention of the Mouri Detective Agency... John's realizing what happened. ]

Yes, right. [ John isn't even in Tu Shan anymore but he hadn't expected to be back in Beika either. Not just any version of Beika.

It's obvious John has something on his mind. ]

We saw each other this morning before you went to school, yeah?

[ Um... is mom okay? ]

Yes, at breakfast.

[ ... ]

[ The answer to that is no. ]

Fairly certain I didn't make it in to work today or call in on account of suddenly ending up in another world again.

[ That's a thing... that happened. ]

[ He quiet a moment as he considers the weight of that statement. Maybe he should put his meeting with Amuro on hold for now. ]

Compass?

[ No, no - go have the meeting with Amuro. John will (probably) be here later, he's just gotta make his way home.

A sigh. ]

Not Compass. There hadn't been a single person who even recognized the name.

[ Weird... was it because Watson isn't from this universe? Or was there some other factor to consider? He's also not so sure how he feels about other places snatching people up and sticking them in different universes. ]

So there's more than just Compass to be concerned about?
