[ KID's silent for a minute, his mind going back over the recent cases in his mind, frowning to himself and then going back further. ]

.... ah, yes, I do remember that one. Not your most recent one for me, but I suppose that doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things.

Ugh. This time discrepancy is getting on my nerves. If you're from my future, I have to ask; have you seen me recently? Or am I still working on the same case?

It didn't take much for KID to figure out from there what the other was talking about. Especially when he asked about seeing him. ]

[ He really shouldn't feel THIS disappointed since he'd really kind of seen it coming. However, it'd be nice to run across a future version of someone that knew how the whole thing with the organization played out. Still, he hasn't come across anyone that knows him to be dead so that's a plus. ]

Tantei-san is too linear, too focused. He's a decent enough detective and one that I don't mind clashing with, but he doesn't think in the same ways you do.

Unfortunately? I know a detective and thief don't get along by nature but you and I are generally civil to one another.
