[ Doesn't matter what device you're using or if you're connected through a mirror there's a loud noise like interference. ]

Oh! Sorry! Sorry about that. [ There's an odd noise and interference seems to have gone away. ] That's better.

Hullo everyone! Now, you may have noticed that some of your calls aren't going through correctly-or possibly the wrong time. It happens.

It's not supposed too, but it does-The universe is a bit weird like that-still it's not a problem and it'll probably correct itself.

Just know this very important bit of information- Do Not Try to Change Your Own Timeline. It doesn't end well.

By the way, I'm The Doctor and while it's an option let's talk! It's not everyday you get to talk to people from different universes... unless your me. But still!

Just for the sake of curiosity, what would you say if someone had already done that?

I'd say they're in a lot of trouble because that creates a paradox and paradoxes are bad.

And why do you ask?

Oh you know. No reason. Just curious.

[Danny was a terrible liar. Although in his defense, there was no easy way to say that the ghost master of time had sent assassins into the past to kill him before he could become a threat, only for everything to later turn out to be part of a plan to give him the chance to make a different choice and change his own future. ]

But just in case, what does one of these paradoxes look like? And how much trouble are we talking about?

It doesn't look like anything- it's a discrepancy in time. It's an event that occurs that can't occur because it's impossible. Sort of like shaking hands with yourself in the past.

[Danny was just getting confused now. He'd been repeatedly attacked by assassins from the future, his own future self had beaten him up and trapped him inside the ghost zone of the future while he took his place. And as far as he could tell there had never been any kind of paradox.]

What if some guy who called himself the master of time said it was okay?

Master of time?

[ That definitely gives the Doctor pause. He couldn't me The Master, could he? Though it would have been just like him to escape death again. He'd done it on several occasions ]
